In Kampala, Uganda's capital city, there are diverse classes of accommodation; from the renowned top range establishments to the reasonably priced outlets for the budget traveler. Across the entire country, situated in the towns and the national parks and game sanctuaries, are hotels and resorts catering for every need. Campsites are also to be found although extra care should be taken and an update obtained from local sources before the date of travel.

GETTING THERE AND AWAY:

AIR: Travelers arriving by air enter the country at the Entebbe International Airport which is approximately 45 minutes drive from Kampala. Taxis, buses and other vehicles are available to ferry you into the city. Airport taxes are incorporated inyour tickets

LAND: Visitors into the country can also come by road from the neighbouring countries of Kenya, Tanzania, Congo or the Sudan. The most popular and safest land routes into the country, however, are through the nations of Kenya and Tanzania. Shuttle buses, Public buses and private vehicles operate from Nairobi to Kampala on a daily basis.
